Open Studio!!! WooHoo!!!

This months meeting will be our first open studio of the year, WooHoo 2020, kicking the year off right!!!  This one will be held in Michelle's Studio in Burbank.  

Open Studio will start at 10:00AM.  

The meeting portion will be at 12:00pm, during the lunch break, so we can get working asap.

This studio time is for getting a project started or working on any unfinished project sitting on your bench.  It can be from a workshop, masters registry, design challenge, or a birthday present that needs to get done and in the mail, all projects are welcome. 

Because space is limited, RSVPs are strongly requested.

Please give a short description of what you plan to work on and if you are hoping to have access to any special tools.

You will have full use of; the brainpower of the people around you, some metal clay supplies in the studio, some metalsmithing supplies in the studio.  Michelle will go over everything you can and can't use when the day begins.

You will need to bring:

Your own hand tools (there are some at the studio but supplies are limited)

Your own metal clay, metal, beads, stones and findings...

A wonderfully friendly attitude that will allow us to work closely together and a willingness to share your knowledge.

This should be a lot of fun and a great chance for everyone to get some of those unfinished projects done and off the bench or get a good start on an exciting new project.

So bring a project, a bunch of tools, a bag lunch, and your lovely creative self!!!!!

Trash to Treasure is here!!!!  WooHoo!!!!!

Bring in your craft closet orphans, excess beads, unwanted stones, texture plates that failed to inspire, tools gathering dust, and so on. Be prepared to swap, barter and sell them to other members of the group, or just set them out for free to a new home.  This is a great chance to clear out and share your crafting cast offs. Of course, it is always fun to add to your stash, so bring some small bills, or be prepared to barter. 

If you have not been here for a “Trash to Treasure”, this is not a sale of finished products, but more of a Crafting Yard Sale, and it's a lot of fun.
