"Open Studio!!"
*Marcia Colquhoun Studio

Another wonderful play day. Marcia arranged everything so that there were plenty of places for everyone to work. That led to lots of learning and creativity as members helped other members. How fortunate we are to have so many knowledgable people. Thank you Marcia for opening up your Studio.

And thank you Michelle for filling in for Paige. We wish her all the best with house hunting.

Reminders:

MASC that is the Metal Arts Society of Southern California will hold their Demo Day on October 16 at El Camino College and our very own Michelle will be demonstrating Faux Bone. This is always a very fun and informative day. You do not have to be a member to attend so do plan to go.

Dues:

It is a new year so everyone's dues are due. Your first meeting is completely free, so come check us out and see what you think,  If you want to join, dues are $25.00 by cash or check for the whole year, you really can't beat that.

Resources:

Would you like to learn something without traveling to a class? Then go to the Learning Center at Cool Tools. They have videos, project sheets and more. Visit     cooltools.us

If you really do not have enough tools in your stash, you can get transfer punches at

Shot plates will allow you to hammer a silver ball placed in one of the depressions in the plate for a cool design.
