"Quilling With Metal Clay!!"
*by Chris Brooks

Quilling, an art form that dates back to the Renaissance can now be done with metal clay. Art Clay Paper Type is thick enough that it is possible to make the various coils used in paper quilling. Only a few tools are required and they are not expensive. The trick is to not get any moisture on the strips and to fire before combining coil elements. There are lots of design possibilities including stand alone, putting coils in a filigree frame or attaching it to a base and adding enamel or resin.
